Amazon Parrot Ecotour in Mexico – Spring 2003! February 26 through March 4, 2003 Rancho Los Ebanos Tamaulipas, Mexico I am pleased to announce that we have booked Rancho Los Ebanos for a week of spectacular bird watching, from Wednesday, February 26, through Tuesday, March 4. Los Ebanos an exceptional site, whose owner is a biologist and a true environmentalist (refreshing in Mexico). They will prepare our meals, and generally help us enjoy ourselves, take us on tours and visits to the shore, sling a few really comfortable hammocks and serve Coronas! There's lots to do but plenty of time to relax if you prefer. The site is a 5000 acre ranch on the Gulf of Mexico, loaded with Amazons (DYHs, RHs, and RLs), Green parakeets, and hundreds of other tropical species. Superb birding. At $859, including two or three excellent tours daily, all meals and board (but not including travel) this tour is a great value. Our tours have been exceptional in the past, so if you have the opportunity to join us, please don't pass it up! We will gather at the Mc Allen, Texas Airport, travel by taxi across the border, bus to Soto la Marina on the Gulf Coast just north of Tampico (in Mercedes buses... not the pig and chicken type!), where we will be picked up by the ranchers who will drive us into the site. We expect this tour to fill, first come first serve. There are a very limited number of spaces available, so please reserve your spot at your earliest convenience. To reserve your spot on the tour or to request more information, please e-mail me at marie@vistadepajaro.com. Muchas Gracias,
